In this presentation, Hannah will address the growing use of biometric payment systems and the legal challenges organizations implementing this technology face.  Topics covered with include new and developing uses of biometric information for payment purposes, data breaches involving biometric information, and recent developments in privacy and security laws applicable to biometric payments, both in the United States and abroad.

Hannah is an attorney practicing privacy and security law at Fey, LLC, a boutique data privacy and information governance law firm.  A Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Hannah utilizes her deep research expertise and risk mitigation and privacy law experience to assist U.S. and multinational corporations develop and implement practical solutions to their unique data privacy and security challenges.  Prior to joining Fey LLC, Hannah practiced privacy law at a boutique healthcare firm, where she focused on providing legal guidance to healthcare providers.
