Join us for our annual ethics event, featuring Harvard Business School Professor and bestselling author of Why They Do It: Inside the Mind of the White-Collar Criminal, Dr. Eugene Soltes. After nearly a decade of intensive research and hundreds of hours of interviews, Professor Soltes has uncovered the psychology behind white-collar crime. Throughout his presentation, he will outline discussions he's had with real white-collar criminals, reveal the conclusions of his study, and describe how to proactively help prevent misconduct within an organization. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and describe why individuals typically engage in misconduct
  • Construct innovative ways to use internal data to proactively identify transgressions
  • Identify effective and ineffective compliance efforts to mitigate misconduct
